Customised Items!!

Hello my Poppets
My house smells of onions, garlic and other tastinesses. My sis is making some Malaysian curry.. YUM! If it wasn't for the huge fishfinger sandwich I had for breakfast, I'd probably be picking at different bits and bobs in the kitchen. My OTHER sis is munching in my ear eating popcorn haha... Again, if it wasn't for the fishfingers I'd tuck into the salty sweetness - no problem!

Anyway, I want to share with you a few of the items I have made recently on request.
I am now taking orders for customised Wristeez (Tis the season after all!), and here are a couple of examples!

Customised Wristeez are £13 (free UK P&P woo!)

I've also been making customised items such as leg warmers for little girlies! Here is a pic of the legwarmers I made for a 3 year old:

If you'd like to make an order, let me know.
You can visit my website, my facebook page or just leave a comment here on my blog!
I'm sorting out some items for a SALE too! So check back very soon!!

Little update

Good evening my Poppets.
It's been a while since I wrote anything, been busy doing my thing. I got an order for a 4 peice set! Bonnet, cardigan, mittens and booties!
I'll show you the booties first as these are new in my range

Aside of these beauties I made an awesomely cute cardigan that even I would wear if it was big enough (I could make one but it would take far too long, and I'm lazy like that)...

For some reason I can't load the picture of the cardigan so maybe I will post it up another time!
Either way, I sent pictures to the client who loved it, and I promised to send it out if I recieved payment before 5pm (post office closure time).. so I piled on my gear (Wristeez and all) and rushed down in the icey drizzle to post it! Hope she likes it!! I spent most of Monday night making, unravelling, remaking and re-unravelling the cardigan to make it just right.

Anyway, that's all for now, got some other orders to make! (I hope I don't get arthritis from the constant wrist flicking action of crochet.. it's all in the wrist... actually, my fingers do  TWANG from time to time)...
Take care my poppets and I'm here if you need anything! xx

Warm bits n bobs

Good afternoon my Poppets!

I had been busy over the last few days, making some orders, thinking up new ideas, and yesterday I visited some friends of mine who I hadn't see in 6years! Oh how time flies! I was served chocolate brownies - like AWESOME brownies. The best part is, (as my friends are so wonderful!!!) I ate three at her house and she gave me a HUGE stack to take home!! I already had one last night - midnight snack ;)

Anyway, my latest invention, as requested by a new customer was some legwarmers for her little girl - here is the completed item!

Warm little leggies £15

Since the client bought a couple of things I gave her discount (as is my custom) so all in all, I think it was a pretty good deal :) A happy customer is  life long customer!
I will post some more pictures of interesting things I am doing with my time, and you may just get a chance to see the brownies (if they haven't already been devoured by the)

Tis a Cold Winter's Day

Good afternoon my poppets,
I hope you're doing well this fine winters day.
I am pleased to announce to you all that I have now got some black Wristeez in stock.

Aren't they just marvellous! You can buy a pair from me buy clicking the tab up top, 'Ordering and Prices' or check out my webtsite for more bits and bobs.
One of my friends has asked me to make her some leg warmers for her little girl. I am SO excited! The colour black and pink are on the radar, to which I shall show you my collection:

I don't actually think this is the whole range of pinks that I have, but there you have it! The legwarmers will be made to match her coat, which is superly duperly cute too, and yes, it's black and pink!
I am also making some Wristeez for men now too, so watch this space and  I'll share with you my progress

Tis the season to be cosy! Fa la la la laaaa... etc etc

The pictures have finally arrived! Hooray!
I do hope you like these saucy individuals, they are perfectly cosy and the colours, well, they are just beautiful! To buy a pair, check the 'Ordering and Prices' tab above.
Slate Grey

Aubergine

Maroon
I can't actually decide which colour I like best! I'll just have to wear them all!
My Dad was kind enough to take these pictures for me - it's usually my Artsy Craftsy older sister but she's busy 'n' ting, checking lunchboxes and explaining maths rules she has only come to fully understand herself today lol. Shout out to Clara! Thanks Daddy, appreciate it. (A mans technical intuition helps on occasions like these).
I shall be off to my website now and add pictures there too, incase you didn't know MY WEBSITE

I will be back at some point to share some more wonderful, I would say 'creations', but only the Creator creates... I guess I'll stick with, 'designs' for now! Speak to you soon my darling poppets! xx

Tidy up time

Greetings poppets,
It's gone 1am and I am up drinking fruit tea and munching (I am some what nocturnal) and decided to post a blog entry.
So I read another brilliant blog about homeschooling, click here to check it out, and it mentioned Treasure Island. Of all the hundreds of books I have read, Treasure Island isn't one of them! I did listen to it at school, one of my teachers would read a chapter or two before 'home time', but I think I was a little bewildered by the language and lost interest. Anyway I ventured to the library yesterday and began my journey with Jim and his pals.
WARNING: 'tis not the best book to read before bed (speaking from experience). The suspense and adventure will make your belly churn and prevent you from sleep.. (hence the late night blogging).

Anyway, besides that I have been making lots of Wristeez, which will soon be available for our fellow Martians (us Venetians come first in line)... and today, I was sorting through some of my yarn stuffs...
This is just the beginning of my tidy-up...
That's just HALF of it ^^, most of it was still in bags and boxes! Anyway, most importantly, as I began sorting through my things, a little Suasage Baby climbed into a basket...

The sheer cute naughtiness of it all baffles me!
I had to stop in my tracks and observe her unbelievably, inconsiderate cuteness. I do have to ask you to excuse her somewhat stoned expression - she was asleep when I decided to disturb her and start the photo shoot. This is Nooni by the way, I'll get Freckles to do some modelling for you soon...

Pictures of my recent items are on their way! Just been busy battling pirates and all with my mate Jim Hawkins... You know how it is :)

Speak to you soon xx

Wristeez

Good Evening my Poppets, 'tis my bed time and I am sitting at my computer trying to keep up with orders... The wristeez are selling like hot cakes - and my friend has suggested chocolate cake when I go to drop her Wristeez to her... I am unable to sleep at the mere THOUGHT of homemade chocolate cake, so I am trying to get them made ASAP in order to recieve some Tantalisingly Delightful Chocolatiness in cake form.
I did promise some behind the scenes juice - so here's a little something for you, my dear poppets...
'Tis just the tip of the iceberg my friends, just the tip.

I am usually drowning under a colourful tidal wave of yarns and all things glitzy, so this is me being organised. And just a thought, 'tis a desk, but my work shop at the same time - now that's what I call versatile AND economical - no need to build a studio in my shed and hide away for hours each day - just TURN YOUR WHOLE HOUSE INTO one huge, CHAOTIC KNOT and drive everyone crazy! :o)

I must say, my feline friends do become mesmorised by yarn, and I have to tell them off each time they approach with HUGE, fixated pupils. I yell at them how naughty they are and send them off with a BIG squeeze and a fat kiss... (My kids will be such confused individuals if I continue to discipline in this way... Let's just hope they aren't as adorable as these fat, little, furry friends of mine). I guess I should include a shout out to them, 'Love you Freckles and Nooni!'
I guess I will leave it there for now, I will be working non-stop for the next couple of days... an exciting, yet exhausting thought *yawn*, and on that note, I shall bid thee farewell.

Good night, and if the bed bugs bite, let me know and I'll crochet you something - not sure what, but I intend to revolutionise the universe with my hook and yarn. xx

Cosy Woziness

The time has come.... To reveal... The much awaited arrival, of theeee... Wristwarmers! aka Wristeez ;)

£10 for a pair of these fanciful beauties. Lovely Jubley (more can be found in this blog post and my website!)

I really do hope you guys like these - they are my favourite thing so far... I for sure will have a pair or two handy at all times! (see what I did there? ..Handy..?! hmmm, never mind)

I've been posting all morning on my facebook page and my website, it's all so much work, and so much fun - time consuming, but what work isn't?! Perhaps a watch maker doesn't have that problem ;)
...I'm just full of hilarity today, aren't I?!

Anyway, I will be back with some more hilariousness and hopefully let you in on a few 'behind the scenes' juicy bits! How exciting! But FIRST, one must iron ones clothing, feed oneself and use my mental energies on something productive and intellectual - such as reading, my favourite hobby, besides hooking up with some yarn.. HA!! crochet hook!... yarn... get it? (oh, the jokes just keep coming!).
Tara for now my poppets xx

~Some more New Items~

Good morning world!
'Tis 11am! I woke up early/earlier this morning as I was excited to take some more pictures of a few of the things I had been working on last night - as I sat their aggressively crochet-ing, taking out my excitement and passion on my hook and yarn (imagine that if you will...)!
The lighting is always better in the morning to take pictures, the wonderful morning light streams in through the French windows allowing me to take some well lit pictures of my treasured production line.
Without further ado, I present to you. just some new colours of my brooches!

Brooches come in this cute little gift bag!

Previously made brooches/hijab pins

Pictures can also be seen on my Facebook page!
Brooches are £3.50 each (including UK P&P) - which is a bargain considering you can chose your own colours n all that! ;) Good stuff I say!

Just to let you know, I will be taking some more pictures of a new invention of mine (to my world anyway).. something I have been wanting to use myself for a very long time, and it wasn't until I could no longer forbear the chill I felt whilst using the computer (the things I do for you people ;) ) did I take the initiative to get to business!

Watch this space my fellow cyber crochet/useful accessory fanatics for some well thought out items.
And don't forget to drink plenty of water and eat your greens! ...my useful advise for this morning

Some things I've sold recently

I will be posting some more pics soon of my works-in-progress a bit later on today, I am currently on a mission to make the perfect wrist warmers in a earthy green colour but have yet to perfect the pattern and style (I'm a perfectionist, didn't you know).

Something I was recently requested to make was a personalised keyring.

So as you know I sell things to friends and family and online, so I thought I'de show you some items I've recently posted out to my much-appreciated customers.

My evolution

Good morning!
So it all started when my aunt was visiting. Being a grandma and all, crochet was something of a routine activity... To pass the time she would crochet things for her family and neighbours and so decided she wanted to teach me! Me, being the overly zealous person that I am, began 'youtubing' and eventually taught myself...

It has since evolved from wonky looking shapes to the teeny, tiny little beauties (if I say so myself!) that I make and sell today.

I have a not so professional website:
http://rosebudboutique.webs.com/

...that I hope you will excuse but also enjoy looking through.

I have, over time, accumalated an extra-ordinary amount of yarn and other little bits and bobs ideal for this craft - most of which I STOLE from my sister* and also bought from 'value stores'** and also online.

Here are some more pics of a few things I have made recently that I thought you might like to see.

*(I use the word stole for added dramatic effect - I did actually obtain consent to rummage and utilize all of her amazing stash of STUFF)
**(A more decadant way of saying 'Cheapo Pound Shops')
